Thanks for purchasing SUN-2500W Power Inverter. To help you operate the devices properly, please read the manual carefully before you use it and keep it at the safe place for future reference.
Preface
Designed with advanced conversion technology and controlled by MCU, SUN-Series Power Inverter is one of the most advanced DC to AC inverters. It can convert DC Power to AC power. It can be widely used in vehicles, trains, vessels, solar energy and wind energy generating electricity, mobile office, telecommunications, police and other rush to deal with an emergency situations. SUN Power Inverter is of small size, less weight, and easy to use and causes less noise while working. SUN Power Inverter can work safely and smoothly for many years.

• A full set of Fuses
• User’s Manual and Warranty Card
• A share install Breechblock
Applying to electric appliances:
Charger for mobile phone, digital and video camera, shaver and so on, and laptop computer, CD/MD/VCD/DVD players, desk computer, television, electric cooker, microwave oven, refrigerator and other lighting electrical appliances whose power is lower than 2500W. To assure the efficiency and using safety of the inverter, the total load power should not exceed 90% of the biggest continuous power.
Warning
▲ Do not put the inverter in the raining or humid place, it may cause electric shock.
▲ Do not insert metals like naked wire into the output socket or inside the inverter through ventilation hole. Otherwise it may cause electric shock.
▲ Do not put the inverter in the place where children can reach, it may cause injure and electric shock.
▲ When the power inverter is used for a long time, it will be hot, please be careful.
▲ Keep the inverter from flammable materials, fumes or gases when used.
△ Proper cooling is necessary while operating.
△ Please insure the inverter is put at “OFF” position when the vehicle is started, otherwise the large instant peak voltage will possibly damage the inverter or its connected electric appliance.
△ Reliable connection of the inverter input and DC power output is necessary as the input current is considerable large when inverter is running.
Notice: the signals with ▲ are the operations which may cause the personal security. The signals with △ are the operations which may cause the machine damaging.
Energy source
Power Inverter is powered by batteries or DC suppliers. For batteries or DC suppliers, the output voltage must be in the prescriptive rage of the inverter input voltage and the output current should meet inverter’s operation requirement. The detail requirement depends on the power of load. If with the battery power supplying, the using time of battery has the relationship with the battery capacity and the power of the connected load. When the battery is full, the simple calculating method of the using time is that:
Time (Hour) = battery capacity (AH) ÷ [electrical power of using (W) ÷ q (V)]. The ‘q’ depends on the battery voltage. Referring to the 12V battery, q = 10; referring to the 24V battery, q = 20; referring to the 48V battery, q = 40. Such as the 24V DC input inverter use the 24V battery, if the battery capacity is 300AH and at this time the inverter with 2000W power load, then in the condition of the battery is full, according to the formula above: the battery use time = 300 (AH) ÷ [2000 (W) ÷ 20 (V)] = 3 (Hour). That is batteries can be used for 3 hours.
Appliance connection(use as single one)
• Attention the positive pole and negative pole when wiring. Connect the “O” terminal of red clip to the red terminal of the inverter and the “O” terminal of black clip to the black terminal of the inverter, then connect the red clip to positive pole of DC power and the black clip to the negative pole of DC power.
• Switch on the inverter. If the indicator LED is green, it means it works properly, if the LED is red, and alarm will beep, it means the inverter is faulty and if so please turn off the inverter immediately and check the inverter.
• Insert the appliance plug into the inverter outlet. Switch on the inverter. If the indicator is green, the appliance can work properly. The inverter has soft-start function.
• When the inverter is working, if the alarm beeps, the indicator LED would take red, which means the inverter is faulty. Corresponding fault can be identified as shown in Section System Display of Specification. After fixing the fault, you can restart it.

*: Measuring output voltage, please use the RMS Meter, or there will be errors between measurement and actual value. Idling current is measured under the rated input voltage.
Security features
There is whole protection and audio-visual alarm system in SUN-2500 power inverter. It can provide a full range of protection, mainly over-voltage protection, low-voltage alarm, under-voltage protection, over-heat protection, overload protection, short circuit protection, reverse polarity protection etc.
Protection and alarm sound definition:
• Low-voltage alarm: When the input DC voltage is lower than low-voltage alarm voltage, low battery alarm to remind the user that there is less power, but the power inverter can still continue to work. The alarm sound is the long sound "beep --- beep ... ....".
• Under-voltage protection: When the input DC voltage is lower than the cut off under-voltage, the power inverter output will be cut off automatically .Sound alarm "beep-beep-beep --- beep- beep-beep ... ....". When the input voltage returned to the normal input voltage, the inverter will restart output automatically. If the input voltage immediately returned to normal after alarm, the alarm sound will continue to sound about 30S and then restart the output.
• Over-voltage protection: When the input DC voltage is higher than the cut off over-voltage, the power inverter output will be cut off automatically. Sound alarm "beep-beep-beep --- beep- beep-beep ... ....". When the input voltage returned to the normal input voltage range, the inverter will restart output automatically. If the input voltage immediately returned to normal after the alarm, the alarm sound will continue to sound about 30S and then restart the output.
• Over-heat protection: When the internal temperature of power inverter is too high (above about 85℃), the power inverter output will be cut off automatically. Sound alarm "beep-beep-beep-beep--- beep-beep-beep-beep ... ....". Need to restart manually.
• Overload protection: When the power of electric apparatus which is brought by power inverter exceeds the inverter’s maximum output, the output would be cut off automatically. Sound alarm "beep-beep---beep-beep ... ....". Need to restart manually.
• Short-circuit protection: When the output short-circuited, the power inverter output will be cut off automatically. Sound alarm "beep-beep-beep-beep-beep---beep-beep-beep-beep-beep... ...." Need to restart manually.
• Reverse polarity protection: When the input positive and negative pole of the power inverter was connected reversed, it will fuse on the inverter fuse to protect the internal circuits. After the replacement of fuse, inverter can work properly.
Working environment
• Operation temperature: -10℃~40℃.
• Storage temperature: -40℃~85℃.
• Considerable air humidity should be less than 85%.
• No electrical conductivity, dust explosion, corrosion-free gas in the working place.
• No shock and vibration in the working place.

After-sales service
The product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for one year from the date of original purchase. If the product need to be adjusted or repaired in the warranty period, please bring this product warranty cards and notes to the company's special department for maintenance or repair to change, if there is any of the following circumstances, although in the warranty period, need repair with your own expense: • Fault is due in view of the company without permission or authorization of our company to non-designated repair point for repair or adjustment.
• Warranty customers as a result of man-made damage, the demolition of their own, the use of overload or other natural disasters caused by the fault or damage is not scope of the warranty.
• The wrong use of power or lead to excessive current product burned.
• Over warranty, the company charges to provide maintenance services.
• The power cord connector, fuse, and other accessories belonging to the depletion of supplies, is not in the scope of warranty.
